What to include

For a calculator result, include the tool name, the main inputs you entered, the result you expected and the result you saw. For a layout or accessibility issue, include the page, device, browser and what made the page hard to use.

What not to send

Please do not include National Insurance numbers, payroll IDs, bank details, full payslips, medical information or other sensitive personal data. Clear Calculators only needs enough context to reproduce a calculation or understand the problem.

How feedback is used

Feedback helps improve wording, examples, accessibility, source notes and calculator assumptions. It is not a route for personal financial, tax, payroll, legal or employment advice, and calculator results remain estimates for general information.

When a result looks wrong

Before sending a calculation issue, check that all periods match, such as weekly pay with weekly deductions or monthly pay with monthly deductions. If possible, include the exact option choices you selected so the same scenario can be recreated.
